We love sharing inspiring stories of the communities we've helped gain access to clean water. Seeing real people whose lives have transformed motivates and uplifts everyone in our nonprofit. Here are a few of our favorites:

Fatima's village in Mali struggled with frequent waterborne illness and days spent hauling distant water. After our program installed a well, Fatima opened a small farm using the water to irrigate vegetables. She now earns steady income to send her kids to school.

Sola's daughters often missed school to walk 6 miles for water in Zimbabwe. With a PlayPump now in their village, her girls attend class consistently and have time to study and play. Their health and grades have radically improved.

Ahmed's sons in Somalia suffered malnutrition from persistent diarrhea. With a community tap stand installed near their home, the boys recovered and Ahmed's farm flourished with irrigation. His family's outlook is bright again.

Marita's Kenyan village had no nearby water source, forcing her to leave daughters home alone. After our biosand filters brought clean water points, Marita can run her fruit stand business while keeping her girls safe.
